I made a gratin using leftover ingredients in the refrigerator, such as seafood, broccoli, and Chinese cabbage. Anyway, I put in a lot of ingredients. It was so delicious with the flavors of each ingredient.
I also made it on other days with different ingredients. It’s also delicious with pumpkin or cauliflower.
This white sauce is super easy to make. I have a problem with lumps when making white sauce, but this is a no-fail recipe.
I use this white sauce recipe over and over again.
Mix 18g of flour with 500ml of milk, then adjust the flavor with consommé and salt and pepper to your liking.

- chicken thigh 100g
- taro 250g
- broccoli 100g

- wheat flour 36g
- milk 1000g
- water 100g
- salt 4g
- pepper moderato amount
- consommé 10g

Seafood Gratin Recipe with Japanese Winter Vegetables COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
➀ Remove the back intestine of the shrimp.
② Wash the shrimp, squid, and scallops, wipe off any dirt, and cut into large pieces.
③ Cut broccoli, chicken thighs, taro, shimeji mushrooms, carrots, Chinese cabbage, and onions into bite-sized pieces.
