Yakisoba(焼きそば)

What kind of dish is Yakisoba??

Yakisoba is a popular noodle dish. It is often eaten at home. However, it is also a standard menu item at food stalls at summer festivals and school festivals.

Seafood and hormones can be used instead of pork, and toppings such as Tempura Flakes, green lover, and pickled ginger are available.
There are many kinds of sauces such as salty sauce, spicy sauce, and thick sauce.
The one that is especially popular in each region is called “local yakisoba”.
This time, it’s a standard sauce yakisoba recipe that you can eat anywhere.

About sakisoba sauce

Many types of sauces are sold. Worcestershire sauce has a low viscosity and a sour taste, while okonomiyaki sauce has a high viscosity and a strong sweetness. I use different sauces depending on my mood, such as the familiar Otafuku sauce, spicy doro sauce, and oyster sauce. You’re probably wondering which one to choose. If you are unsure, a product that clearly says yakisoba sauce is the best choice.

But don’t worry, most Chinese noodles sold for yakisoba come with powder seasoning. I often use yakisoba under the brand name Maruchan. When adding a lot of ingredients, season the ingredients with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce before combining them with the noodles.
