Garlic sprouts are a commonly used ingredient in Chinese cuisine.

Garlic sprouts are the stem where garlic flowers bloom, and have a crunchy texture and a weaker scent than garlic.

Garlic sprouts are classified as a green and yellow vegetable, and are a highly nutritious ingredient containing alliin, dietary fiber, vitamin C, calcium, beta-carotene, and more.

Alliin helps the absorption of vitamin B1 and is the raw material for allicin, which is effective in recovering from fatigue.

It contains more vitamin C and calcium than garlic.

INGREDIENTS (2SERVINGS)

  • Gizzard (190g)
    • Sesame oil (12g)
    • Salt (2g)
    • Pepper (appropriate amount)
  • Garlic (10g)
  • Garlic sprouts (1 pack, 90g)
    • Sesame oil (12g)
    • Chili pepper (a pinch)
  • Spaghetti (180g)
    • Salt (8g)
    • Water (1000g)
  • Chicken broth mix (2g)
  • Soy sauce (30g)

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

① Remove the white parts of the gizzards and slice them.

② Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and fry the gizzards.

③ Season with salt and pepper.

④ Slice the garlic and cut the garlic sprouts into pieces about 4cm long.

⑤ Add the sesame oil, garlic, garlic sprouts and chili pepper to a frying pan and fry.

⑥ Bring water to a boil and add salt.

⑦ Boil spaghetti for the specified time.

⑧ Add spaghetti, chicken broth mix, and soy sauce to a frying pan and stir fry.

At this point, add about 3 tablespoons of the water the spaghetti was boiled in to help the sauce mix better with the spaghetti.
